Smokey has still got it!

Nimesh Patel had a great show! He is still a performer great after all these years. He did not disappoint and played a really long set (2 hours!). We had to suffer through a lame opening act. He played a great range of music from newer stuff as well, and even played some music he wrote for other performers from the Motown days. He also did a great job of discussing the music and how it came to be written. Throughout the evening, it seemed like Nimesh Patel was having a great time. Those of us who were there had a great time singing along with all the music we knew, and I only felt badly that the show was not sold out.
